Production Mixer

13.61 per hour starting salary rising to 14.33 after training

42.5 Hours per week

Shift 05:15 to 14:15 Mon-Fri .

We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our growing and established, BAKER & BAKER manufacturing team.

At our Daventry site, we make cakes and tray bakes, which you may have bought in the supermarkets or eaten whilst visiting leading coffee shops. The role involves ensuring all ingredients are weighed correctly, mixes are made according to procedures and recipes are followed, ensuring that mixes are available to keep the production lines running.

BAKER & BAKER is a European leader in the bakery convenience segment, with an annual turnover of EUR400 and operating across 12 sites in seven countries.

Skills required:

Previous experience in a food environment Ability to work within a team and follow instructions Basic understanding of food safety principles (desirable) This role involves very high levels of manual handling, i.e. pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, bending and stretching. Please do not apply if you are unable to manage this for the entire shift. Some spoken English (Portuguese speaking team members also) Good numeracy skills

We interview on site so you can see the factory and ask questions. You must provide a share code if not from the UK.

Due to our location, you will need your own transport.

Not suitable for student visas due to 42.5 hours per week.
