To operate and monitor production equipment as per the company's standard operating procedures (SOP's) to achieve product that is within internal and external specifications.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: As per Band A plus
1. Operating and monitoring production equipment safely
2. Bagging and sealing cheese and checking for foreign body contaminants.
3. Undertaking manual handling tasks including hand stacking product/packing into boxes and onto pallets, manual dairy tasks and using pallet trucks.
4. Taking on some responsibility in helping organise work areas of the production lines and set up machinery where training permits to help production run efficiently
5. Working within all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety and
Food Safety Standards
6. Use business systems such as NAV and QIS (But not exclusively) to accurately manage/record the movement of all forms of stock (including but not limited to finished/semi-finished goods, packaging, ingredients).
7. Using safe working practices and relevant documentation to carry out tasks relevant to the area such as loading and unloading lorries using electric pallet movers or forklift trucks.
8. To carry out any other work or task determined to be within your level of competence, to meet the needs of the business.
9. Working within all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Food
Safety, Authenticity, Legality and Quality Standards.
