Job Description

As a Paint Shop operative, you'll perform essential paint repairs on our leisure vehicles. You'll work closely with the team, maintaining high standards and continuously seeking improvement. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure and supports team production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform paint touch-ups and cosmetic repairs on vehicle panels. Repairs to include; Perform filler and prep work on components prior to painting, Carry out sanding to required standards, Accurately spray primer, basecoat and lacquer using appropriate techniques, Polish repaired and painted areas to a high-quality finish, Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times, Ensure proper understanding of drying times and material usage, with the ability to follow processes to internal standards and to SOP, Be confident to identify and correct any inappropriate behaviour, report any breaches of safety to the Manufacturing Team Leader as soon as possible

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive approach to work and colleagues Deliver work with a strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
