Production / Repair Technician

We are looking for a Production / Repair Technician to join our Industrial Operations team at Thales Crawley site. With experience in wiring, and building electrical assemblies you'll be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings to the required quality.

What the role has to offer:



To perform complex Manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation provided to the quality standards expected in a timely and professional manner. To adhere to the defined Company processes when carrying out all tasks Performs self-assessment and approval of products To input and support any continuous improvement actions being worked on within Industry To be able to detect any fault or non-compliance and if necessary raise the alert. In addition when able should contribute to diagnostics and the finding of the cause/root analysis To manage and record build configuration of product To use the company tools (ERP, Palma etc.) when carrying out product assembly tasks

About You



Experience in wiring, soldering & potting. Ability to perform complex electronic operations involving wiring and component soldering to IPC standards IPC qualified Experience building electronic assemblies The ability to interpret drawings and wiring diagrams Experience in electronic testing

Eligible to obtain full SC clearance.

Hours




Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday and you will be able to choose when you start and when you finish. It is 9 1/4 hours per day with a half hour for lunch.
