Production Shift Manager

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)

SPI Group is looking for a Production Shift Manager to join our growing team. You'll be at the heart of operations, leading a dedicated team, collaborating across departments, and ensuring our production runs smoothly and safely.

What you'll be doing

Leading, motivating, and developing your team to deliver exceptional performance. Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised workplace with a strong focus on Health & Safety. Managing staffing levels and planning resources to meet operational demands. Driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, and quality standards. Coaching, supporting, and carrying out regular performance reviews with your team. Investigating downtime and efficiency losses and implementing solutions. Working closely with engineering, warehouse, and administration teams to keep everything running like clockwork. Ensuring compliance with SOPs, SSOWs, and company policies.

What we're looking for

Proven experience managing a team in a busy production or manufacturing environment. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communicator who can engage, coach, and inspire others. Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and compliance standards. IT-literate with good numerical and analytical ability. Someone proactive, hands-on, and passionate about continuous improvement.

Pay: 39,505.45 per year
