We provide a fast and reliable brick cutting and brick bonding service offering an extensive range of standard and nonstandard brick specials.

The Role

The Production Team leader will be based at our brick cutting support facility in Overseal and will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily production activities, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves leading a team of production workers, monitoring performance, and implementing process improvements.


Shift pattern: AM Shift (6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday) flexibility is required to move to 08:30pm - 17:00pm in the future, as this area may move to two shifts, so expectation would be to spend time with both shifts every day. Overtime may be available on occasion.


The role is a based on 37.5hrs - with 30 mins unpaid break each day.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a medium sized team (circa 14 people), Monitor production output and ensure adherence to production schedules. Maintain accurate production records and reports. Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Promote a culture of quality awareness within the team. Planning daily labour to best utilise our machines in this area Looking at efficiency issues and suggesting / implementing improvements

Supervisory experience & People managing experience Labour Management / planning experience Production planning experience - skill in planning / sequencing production Lean manufacturing knowledge Machinery knowledge - Good understanding of general production machinery - able to troubleshoot /problem solve issues with machines Strong Communication skills
