Title: Production Supervisor

Reports to: Operations Manager

Department: Production

Salary: \xc3\x82\xc2\xa327-30k DOE

Location: Derby

My client is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. They are a leading printer and installer of tension fabric graphics.



Supervision of day-to-day production activities, workflow and raising awareness of late orders:

• Working alongside the Ops Manager to plan production for the day
• Plan who will do each task and when
• Liaising with the Ops Manager of jobs that could potentially fail and assist with options to enable them to succeed
• Review upcoming projects for planning purposes
• Overseeing the quality of orders produced
• Monitoring of production processes

Assisting with continuous staff training:

• Working with the Ops Manager to assess training needs
• Provide in house training for current and new staff in required areas
• Provide data to Ops Manager for updating of staff training records
• Encourage smarter working

Working with the Ops Manager to improve workflow, processes & waste management

Projects:

• Present at meetings with Account Managers re upcoming projects to ensure smooth production
• Planning and organizing of logistics for large jobs, ie packing (pallets), transportation etc Observing any H & S hazards or concerns and reporting in to the Operations Manager
