What you will be doing:
You will be busy providing administrative support to our production team, you will be expected to support a number of teams/departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. You are also expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others.
Answering reception phones and directing calls accordingly. Taking phone messages/voicemails and passing them on to the relevant staff member/s if they're unavailable.
Ensuring that customers are sent and receive order acknowledgements, and deal with any queries arising from them
Supporting with Inputting of sales orders and production associated paperwork with relation to incoming customer orders.
Support the contract review process
Supporting with ensuring that all records are kept up to date on the MRP system
Supporting with maintaining sales/production data to ensure that planning software is up to date and current
Ensuring that on completion of order, all the required documentation is filed to ensure that they are identified, protected and easily retrievable
Liaison with customers and suppliers where required
Printing and preparing of route cards and check sheets ready for manufacture
Updating BOM's to quoted hours
Circulating and updating various reports to team members
Allocation of material
To support the Planning function
Set up & processing of Contract Reviews in line with internal procedure
Monitoring production/engineering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ensure that all work, tasks, procedures and documentation meet the requirements of Pentaxia Quality Management System (QMS)
Support the Engineering function with administrative duties when required.
Full compliance with all QA, E,H&S policies, procedures and processes.
Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health and safety, Quality and environmental policies and procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of both staff, visitors, and any external contractors.
Other duties as directed.
What we are looking for:
GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade Grade C/4 or above) is essential

Your working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm
Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm
Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on business needs.
