Recently acquired by NCE Switchgear, Gresham Power is entering an exciting period of growth and investment. We are looking to strengthen our production team with a motivated

Production Support Assistant

to support day-to-day manufacturing activities.

Due to the nature of the work, the successful applicant will be required to undergo DBS clearance.

Overall Responsibilities



Assist in the assembly of equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. Support a range of manufacturing processes, receiving full instruction and training where required. Carry out basic electro-mechanical assembly tasks following training. Support production flow by working collaboratively with supervisors and team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
You will be supported and developed to learn and carry out the following:

Interpret technical engineering drawings and written specifications. Work from information in a prototype and low-volume manufacturing environment. Interpret manufacturing documentation, including general assembly drawings, circuit diagrams, and sketches. Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly. Carry out soldering, wiring, and crimping tasks. Perform hand wiring activities to a defined standard. Identify any build or quality issues and feed these back to the line supervisor. Follow company procedures and complete all required documentation accurately. Work with minimal supervision once trained. Maintain a proactive, flexible, and positive approach to learning new skills. Work safely at all times, with due regard to health & safety, industry standards, and local good practice.
