Country Style Foods is a family run modern craft bakery company that works closely with leading retailers and food service customers, specialising in high volume production of top-quality bakery products. We are now looking to add to our site team in Leeds with

Production Team Leaders

(two on afternoons 1400-2200; one on nights 2200-0600; and one on flexible shifts 0600-1400 & 1400-2200). Flexibility around working hours and days will be required as rotas will include weekend working.

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Front Line Managers, you will lead a team running part of the production department, communicating any shortfalls or problems to the Managers.

Main duties will include:

Take ownership and accountability for every aspect of operations in your department, making sure they comply to all company and customer specifications including Quality, Safety, Waste, Cost and Efficiency, Improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will need the required skills and experience:

Leadership skills The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads A flexible approach to working Good communication and teamwork Positive attitude towards continuous improvement Reliability and good timekeeping Literacy, maths and ICT Initiative Ideally supervisory experience in both bakery and manufacturing but consider any experience (i.e. supervision in manufacturing of other goods on production lines, or line operators with right skills)
