Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding components to create high-quality products that meet our stringent standards.

Duties

Perform Mig/Mag welding and other welding techniques to assemble metal components. Fabricate parts according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Conduct quality checks on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in Mag/Mig welding techniques with a solid understanding of welding principles. Strong mechanical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues. Ability to weld and fabricate components accurately according to specifications. Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools relevant to the welding process. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks.

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour
