Romiley Board Mill is currently looking for Production Operatives to assist in the manufacture of cardboard from waste paper, with opportunities to advance within the business.
DUTIES
Threading up the paper machine / winder Handling of reels using fork lift trucks and overhead crane Maintaining a safe and clean working environment Removing scrap paper from the process Weighing and marking finished reels Quality control checks Cutting cores Basic maintenance of production machinery
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience of driving a fork lift truck would be an advantage but is not essential. Safety awareness Hardworking, conscientious and reliable Flexible approach to duties
THE PERSON
You should have experience of working in a manufacturing / production environment Positive attitude Ability to work in a team
HOURS OF WORK:
12 hour shifts, four on four off including nights, days and weekends.
Basic salary quoted, overtime is frequently available.
34 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)
SALARY:
