Pluck Kitchens is looking for a Production / Workshop Manager to join its growing team in Brixton, London.

The Role
The Production Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the production schedule, coordinating across the company to ensure projects are detailed, produced, finished, delivered and installed on time. The ideal candidate will be a strong organiser with experience in bespoke furniture or kitchen manufacturing, able to create and maintain structured systems that improve efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day workflow, setting production schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Leading, motivating, and supervising a team of cad technicians, cabinet makers, machinists and subcontractors, including task assignment and performance monitoring.
Implementing and enforcing quality control standards to ensure all products meet high specifications and client expectations.
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety (H&S) regulations, conducting risk assessments, and managing PPE requirements.
Overseeing the operation, routine maintenance, and repair of all workshop machinery (CNC machines, panel saws, edge banders, sanders, etc)
Planning and managing material stock levels, tooling, and general workshop resources to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
Interpreting technical drawings, CAD files, and specifications to ensure accurate translation into production and providing technical guidance to the team.
Driving initiatives to enhance production methods, improve efficiency, and implement new technologies.
About You
Proven experience in a leadership or senior supervisory role within a joinery, carpentry, or woodworking environment (3+ years)
Strong technical knowledge of bespoke joinery processes, materials, tools, and machinery (including CNC machinery)
Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on management approach.
Ability to provide Training and mentorship to workshop staff to maintain a skilled workforce
Good knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop environment.
Excellent ability to read and interpret technical and CAD drawings.
High competence with spreadsheet software like Excel/Google Sheets.
