Job Description

Are you organised, proactive and passionate about supporting professional growth? We're seeking a Professional Development & HR Assistant with proven experience in coordinating training programmes and liaising with external providers, who also brings exceptional administrative skills and attention to detail

.





As a key member of our HR department, you'll play a vital role in supporting the professional growth of our staff and contributing to smooth HR operations. From coordinating CPD activities and sourcing first-class training providers to organising staff inductions and providing HR administrative support, your work will be diverse, valued and central to the department's and college's success.



Interviews for this role will be taking place on 21 July 2025.


Your duties

You will:


Organise, promote and evaluate CPD and management development programmes. Coordinate and administer staff induction and onboarding programmes. Deliver a professional and confidential HR administration service. Develop and maintain quality administrative systems and records. Facilitate successful college wide events. Administer the annual Performance & Development Review (PDR) cycle.

Person specification

The successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:


A minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent). Experience of coordinating and evaluating training programmes. A commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Experience of working with financial data and monitoring expenditure. Experience of coordinating and supporting internal committees. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and maintain strict confidentiality. The ability to be a collaborative team member, working with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
