We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be well adversed in the use of various power tools and hand tools. Knowig how to slab / lat bricks/set lines up and fencing work is an absolute necessit.This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that gardens and landscapes are aesthetically pleasing. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for working in unison with existing team members. they must possess strong stamina as this job can be gruelling and an eye for the finishing touch is needed aswell. Three to five years in the landscape industry is ideal band a driving license is very important aswell.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance landscapes by performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging.
Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Build and install landscape features such as pathways, garden beds, and irrigation systems.
Dig trenches for planting or irrigation installation as required.
Monitor plant health, identify issues, and apply appropriate treatments to ensure optimal growth.
Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects.
Perform groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and presentable.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools effectively.
Familiarity with gardening techniques, including planting, pruning, and pest management.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as needed.
A valid driving licence is essential
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
