We have an opportunity for a Programme Editor - Events to join the Wonderly division working on high profile and engaging events for the CIPD and Medical portfolio of events. These range from more niche topic based events to large scale events including the CIPD's Festival of Work which attracts over 10,000 visitors. You will play a key role in developing the content ensuring our events remain at the leading edge and meet the changing needs of our growing audience.



Responsibilities:

The role will focus on content research, working with key stakeholders across the industry, programme writing and speaker acquisition. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Content and will be responsible for a series of allocated events as well as team collaboration on the large scale events.


This role would suit a content producer/ programme editor with a minimum of 2 years experience looking to take the next step in their career. A proven track record of delivering business related events is a must.



Responsibilities:

Conduct research with delegates, key stakeholders and industry experts to design content Write engaging programme copy and liaise with marketing team on content for all event promotions Source and invite engaging industry speakers and manage speaker agency relationship for high profile keynotes Manage all communications with speakers Take a project lead role and work closely with Ops, Marketing and Commercial teams to drive success of your events Onsite delivery of your events including managing speakers and liaising with AV Suggest and execute new event formats



Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria:
Excellent research and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong copywriting ability Strong communication skills and ability to speak face-to-face with senior executives in the market Ability to multi-task on many different projects, whilst remaining highly-organised Excellent organisational skills and time assessment Proven track record of delivering projects on time and working under pressure Creative and innovative Excellent at building relationships and working with a range of stakeholders
