About the Role

We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic

P

rogramme Manager for Hair and Beauty

with a specialist background in

Barbering

or

Beauty therapies

to lead and manage our curriculum delivery in this exciting area.


You will play a key role in driving curriculum development, quality improvement, learner outcomes, and progression pathways across Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, and Barbering programmes.


As Programme Manager, you will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of courses, working closely with teaching staff to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment. You will also support the development of industry-relevant skills, employer partnerships, and enrichment opportunities for learners.


What You Will Do
Lead, manage and support curriculum teams across Hairdressing, Beauty and Barbering Drive quality improvement in teaching, learning and assessment Oversee curriculum planning, timetabling and learner progress monitoring Develop innovative and industry-relevant programmes, with a strong focus on Barbering specialism Build strong links with employers, industry bodies, and other stakeholders Support recruitment, retention and achievement targets Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, including internal verification and standardisation Lead on staff development and performance management within the programme area

About You
We are looking for a motivated leader with:

A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) A relevant vocational qualification in Hairdressing/Barbering or beauty at Level 3 or above Experience delivering and managing Barbering and/or Hair and Beauty programmes in an FE or training environment Excellent understanding of current industry trends and qualification frameworks Proven experience in curriculum leadership and quality assurance Strong organisational and communication skills
