Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Project Analyst for a 6 Month contract based remotely (ability to travel occasionally to Edinburgh would be beneficial).

Purpose of the Role:

  • The Project Analyst will support the development of a new portal to support their customer\'s journey to implement energy and cost of living efficiency.
Responsibilities of the role:

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
  • Prepare and develop aspects of project plans, controls and resource plans as directed by Project Manager.
  • Manage key progress check points to be monitored and controlled by senior colleagues and provide status reports to senior colleagues showing the progress against plans and making sure that the project remains in scope.
  • Work within the Scrum teams to keep the solution development aligned to planned delivery.
  • Support the user story development and make sure that the Scrum Team are able to maintain velocity.
  • Identify resource requirements against the project plans.
  • Track, report on and realise project benefits.
  • Manage, or assure, any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
  • Conduct data analysis as required and depending on experience.
What we require from the candidate:
  • Experience of Change Management and detailed knowledge and experience of the project life cycle.
  • Experience of delivering project analysis in a data, technology or IT function.
  • Knowledge of cultural change methodologies.
  • An awareness of flexible working environments and challenges.
  • Experience in supporting and using project management tools.
