Hybrid Working
We have a Hybrid approach to working here at Starling - our preference is that you\'re located within a commutable distance of one of our offices so that we\'re able to interact and collaborate in person. We don\'t like to mandate how much you visit the office and work from home, that\'s to be agreed upon between you and your manager.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll get to do
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Project Analyst to support the delivery of complex projects within our Technology team at Starling. Working as part of our Projects team, you will support Project Managers with the implementation of large scale projects of varying scope, working with internal stakeholders to oversee the implementation of key changes across Starling.

As a Project Analyst at Starling you can expect to be involved in:

  • Support the design and delivery of complex change across the Starling
  • Working with the project manager and the wider technology and operations teams to identify challenges before they impact delivery.
  • Preparing updates to go to senior management on the status of the project.
  • Supporting the smooth transition of the project to \xe2\x80\x98business as usual\xe2\x80\x99 teams at the point of project closure.
Requirements:
We\'re looking for someone who thrives delivering in a flexible environment and previous experience working in Financial Services would be a plus.

Ideally you will have:
  • Good written and verbal communication with experience preparing updates for senior leadership and third parties
  • Experience maintaining project plans, risk tracking and preparing updates for status meeting
  • Previous experience as a project analyst or junior project manager
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to solve problems creatively
Interview process
Interviewing is a two-way process and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get to know us, as much as we are getting to know you! Our interviews are conversational and we want to get the best from you, so come with questions and be curious. In general you can expect the below, following a chat with one of our Talent Team:
  • Stage 1 - 30 mins with one of the team
  • Stage 2 - 60 mins interview with two team members
  • Stage 3 - 30 min final with an executive and a member of the people team
