What You'll Be Doing
This is a wide-ranging role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day and can juggle multiple responsibilities with a calm, can-do attitude. Duties will include:
Project Coordination & Administration
Arrange and coordinate meetings, including taking minutes and following up on actions
Maintain accurate financial records, schedules, and documentation for ongoing projects
Monitor project timelines and ensure progress aligns with key milestones
Liaise with suppliers, ensuring procurement and delivery of required furniture and equipment
Act as Goods Receiving Officer during commissioning, checking and placing items as needed
Keep all project management paperwork updated in line with specifications
Client & Team Support
Be the first point of contact for customers and clients, offering friendly and professional service
Maintain clear and accurate client files
Coordinate timelines and completion dates with internal teams
Submit planning applications where required and ensure risk assessments and method statements are completed
Book subcontractors and liaise with them throughout the project
Financial & Commercial Tasks
Prepare and send quotations, cost out projects, and handle invoicing
Monitor receipts and track project-related income and expenditure
Work closely with the Sales Director to support client relationships
Other Responsibilities
Lead on small internal projects when needed
Identify and address project issues promptly, escalating when necessary
Support team members to ensure delivery deadlines are met
What We're Looking For
2 years' experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Manager role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Understanding of project management principles
Friendly, proactive, and able to multitask effectively
A team player who's also confident working independently
