(Just 10 minutes from Bishop's Stortford and Harlow)

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)

Salary: 24,451.80 - 24,884.57 per annum

Now we're looking for a creative, hands-on

Project Assistant

to support our innovative Social Enterprise and Vocational Projects.

About the Role




As a Project Assistant, you'll help deliver meaningful, skill-building activities through one of our unique enterprise projects, such as horticulture, arts and crafts, or jewellery making. Whether it's helping someone plant their first seed, design a piece of artwork, or sell their handmade creations, your role is about nurturing confidence and independence in a supportive and inclusive space.


You'll work alongside our Lead Instructor to plan and deliver creative sessions tailored to each participant's needs -- and celebrate their achievements every step of the way.

What You'll Do:



Support individuals 1:1 and in small groups, helping them develop practical skills and confidence Assist in planning and running engaging, hands-on sessions in your area of interest (e.g. gardening, jewellery, or art) Help maintain a safe, well-organised and welcoming environment Provide personal care in line with individual needs (full training provided) Prepare stock, support displays, and attend occasional events to promote and sell participants' work Accurately record progress and achievements using quality assurance tools Collaborate with colleagues, families, carers and funders to deliver a high-quality service

About You




You're creative, patient, and motivated by helping others grow. You'll enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

We're looking for someone who is:



Passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities Experienced (professionally or personally) in creative or practical fields like gardening, crafts, or jewellery A confident communicator, able to adapt to different needs and abilities Organised, proactive and a team player Comfortable supporting personal care needs Willing to complete relevant training, including safeguarding and medication administration
