Our diverse audio team is looking for an additional Project Audio Lead. As an experienced leader and people manager you will guide a project team to stay on track and will provide them with meaningful feedback to help them achieve their tasks and goals.

You will help to create a safe space for learning, career growth and working together as a team. As the Lead of a Project you are not asked to be the best sound designer, the most technical person or being the best planner: With over 62 supporting staff across audio design, technical audio and audio production you will be assisted in those roles so we can succeed as a team.

You do excel at being a trusted and safe pair of hands and can use emotional intelligence and experience to guide, mentor and expand your team.

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and guide the career of the people working in your team.

Ambitious for audio in games, progressive in approach and open to idea sharing, mentoring and brainstorming.

Translate vision into functional plans and guide their execution.

Significantly impact and influence technical and aesthetic direction within own discipline and beyond.

Operate autonomously from the Head of Audio Design and keep them well informed of all project developments, challenges and risks.

Trusted and empowered explicitly to make decisions in the best interests of the project and project audio quality.

Accountable for results, which may impact the whole discipline and/or project

Can delegate and manage team tasks throughout the project lifetime.

Work with other disciplines in the interest of the end user experience, can compromise on and champion features and ideas.

Help cultivate an optimistic, fun, collaborative and above all, productive atmosphere within the audio team and beyond!

Requirements:

A gameaudio showreel on YouTube (hidden YouTube links are fine) with your best work. We are happy to review paint overs and audio re-designs.

Extensive experience in creating audience facing audio, from a relevant or adjacent discipline.

Experience managing and/or leading teams.

We prefer candidates whom have shipped projects of a similar scope to Frontier Developments releases.

Experience working with adjacent disciplines in game development is a plus!
