About The Role

We are seeking a talented individual, with previous Telecoms experience, to join our PMO to support existing deployment-based projects in the UK and EU, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and safely. Your focus will be to meet all requirements as detailed within client issued work instructions. You will be keeping project schedules up to date, organising logistics, purchasing materials, booking engineers/resource to site. Providing regular updates to key stakeholders, coordinating communications to and from the field, managing as-built information from the Field Engineers to the client. Maintaining financial reports that cover forward revenue projections a live P&L document, raising orders and triggering invoicing. You will be required to take on any additional duties which may be considered within the remit of the role. The term deployment relates to the installation of telecoms hardware at customer owned or collocated premises. Each deployment can vary from a single day events or multiple days The Equipment we are deploying is IP and Optical/DWDM related Our clients are a mix of equipment vendors, internet providers, social networks and telecom networks. Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the scheduling of engineers in line with project SLAs by raising Tickets on the Salesforce Field Service ticketing system.
  • Keeping project trackers updated, ensuring key milestones are met and recorded.
  • Keeping change/variation logs up to date and sharing details with key stakeholders
  • Arrange site access.
  • Materials and tool management and purchasing.
  • Documentation auditing and management.
  • Escalates engineering issues to the Project Coordinator lead / Project Manager as relevant;
  • Manage profit and loss statements & forecast future revenue and activities.
  • Represents the company in customer meetings/on customer conference calls in either an assisting or primary role.
    • Provides financial and commercial support \xe2\x80\x93 signing of acceptance reports and invoicing against customer purchase orders, raising customer and service partner purchase orders.
  • Attend Customer meetings as the primary lead or as in a supporting capacity to update on KPIs for the work stream.

About You

  • Minimum Education level: 5 GCSEs or similar to include Maths and English.
  • Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of working with SharePoint or other cloud-based storage systems is essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to interact with people at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise events and deliverables, good organisational skills and able to work logically
  • A pragmatic approach to dealing with unexpected & challenging events
  • Able to work in both a team and on own initiative, not afraid to seek support when necessary
  • Previous Project Coordinator experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in the Telecoms industry is essential.
