Job Objectives and Responsibilities

  • The project teams are responsible for the design, development and implementation of large Telecoms projects, roll outs and unified communication technologies. This role is responsible for the day-to-day project coordination work, ensuring that projects are executed, reported on and completed efficiently in accordance with delivery timescales and processes. You will drive the project forward, document processes, update systems, solve problems, troubleshoot issues and escalate issues to the Project Delivery Manager/ Project Manager.
  • Key Duties and responsibilities
  • To provide full project coordination support for all operational elements of field projects whilst ensuring all daily requirements are met including monitoring progress in field.
  • Use external online portals to align access permits.
  • Produce and ensure instructions issued to field representatives are appropriate and effective.
  • To prioritise, coordinate and schedule daily work and system updates.
  • To produce work packs and ensure instructions issued to field representatives are appropriate and effective.
  • To create and maintain records including data sheets, project documentation and reports ensuring all data captured is accurate and meets the specific requirements.
  • Ensure field engineers have the correct H&S documentation for all site activity.
  • To provide input and feedback to the team with respect to ideas for process improvement and business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management team.

Person Specification
  • Previous experience in coordinating is required preferably in the telecommunication industry. This role requires a strong character who has the experience and confidence to work at a fast pace. The project is focused on deploying telecommunications sites for one of our high profile clients.
  • Essential
  • GCSE Math\'s & English (A-C/9-4) or equivalent as minimum.
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Super organised, methodical and have a way of getting things done
  • Detail orientated with strong record keeping skills and works with high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Willing and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience with CRM platforms, mobile operator portals and SharePoint (desirable)
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Enjoys working collaboratively

  • Culturally astute
  • Willing to learn and pursue relevant qualifications
  • Ability to work additional hours and travel as required.
  • Full driving licence
Health and Safety Responsibilities
  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
Compliance
  • Read, understand and comply with all internal policies for 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001 including compliance orders.
  • Co-operate with the company to achieve safe, healthy and environmentally sound operations on and off site.
  • Co-operate with instructions from the auditing department or management; and reporting any lack of business process-training requirements.
  • Ensure that customer requirements and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, met and maintained.
  • Maintain focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Functional and hierarchical escalation of work-related incidents as required.
  • Responsible for raising awareness of non-compliance.
  • Complete any mandatory training.
