Role Overview



This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in engineering and technical data handling who is eager to grow their career in asset management. You will contribute from day one, with ongoing support and structured training designed to expand your expertise and guide you toward taking on greater responsibility over time.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering maintenance management and asset data projects across a range of sectors. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and can apply engineering expertise across multiple disciplines.

The role is full-time and permanent, based in South Wales with our HQ in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. You'll spend time at client sites, so travel and flexibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities



Support the delivery of asset management and maintenance projects for clients across key sectors. Assist in the development of asset registers and asset hierarchies. Contribute to the population and optimisation of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including platforms such as SAP. Support the design and implementation of maintenance strategies and processes. Develop and maintain Health & Safety documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in technical problem-solving and process improvement initiatives. Work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team, with exposure to client-facing responsibilities. Visit industrial sites to verify asset data, gather information, and review compliance practices.

About You



Essential:



Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, or related discipline). Skilled in technical data handling, with an analytical mindset that supports effective problem-solving. Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to engage clients and colleagues in delivering value. Willingness to travel and work on client sites.

Desirable:



Familiarity with asset management principles and lifecycle planning. NEBOSH Certificate Experience with CMMS (such as SAP, Maximo, or similar). Knowledge of Health & Safety processes and compliance requirements. Working towards professional registration (e.g., IEng, CEng).
