Introduction:
Are you a skilled Project Manager looking to make a significant impact in the public sector? Join our esteemed Public Sector Organization as a Project Manager for an initial 12-month contract with potential extensions. This exciting role will primarily be based at our Derry site. We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to assist our Senior Project Manager in efficiently managing and coordinating the delivery of Major Adaptations projects.

Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your vital role will involve:

1. NEC Contract Documents: Expertly prepare and manage NEC contract documents, ensuring precise and effective project administration.

2. Major Adaptations Management: Take charge of project management for major adaptations construction, meticulously adhering to agreed-upon timelines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary constraints.

3. Consultant and Contractor Briefing: Skillfully communicate project requirements to consultants and contractors, expertly negotiating appointments, and overseeing timely and cost-effective project completion.

4. Cost Monitoring: Conduct thorough feasibilities and option appraisals while maintaining robust systems to monitor project costs effectively.

5. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges, taking prompt and systematic action to overcome obstacles and ensure project progress remains on track.

6. Progress Reporting: Provide comprehensive and regular progress reports on project performance to the Senior Project Manager, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

1. Relevant Qualification and Experience: Hold a Level five qualification (e.g., HND) or above in disciplines like Estate Management, Building Surveying, Construction, or Engineering, with a minimum of 12 months\' experience within a construction or maintenance environment.

OR

2. Extensive Experience: Possess five years of relevant experience within a construction or maintenance environment, gained within the last 8 years.

Remuneration:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual remuneration of approximately \xc2\xa330,152, along with attractive discount benefits.
