Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a project that will be run out of Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a project ensuring they meet scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively. The Project Manager will utilise a range of project management tools and methodologies to deliver successful outcomes aligned with organisational goals.

Responsibilities



Lead the planning and implementation of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all deliverables are met within scope, schedule, and budget. Manage project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and supervision to ensure high performance and collaboration. Gather and define project requirements by liaising with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment with organisational objectives. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues early and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks. Utilise project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar tools for scheduling, tracking progress, and resource allocation. Maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders through regular updates, presentations, and reports using tools like SharePoint or Confluence. Control project costs by monitoring budgets and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Apply various project management methodologies including Waterfall, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), or customised approaches based on project needs. Analyse project data using SAS or other analytical tools to inform decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with organisational standards by adhering to requirements gathering processes and documentation practices. Facilitate meetings and workshops employing presentation skills to communicate project status effectively. Willing to travel to Vendors (USA).

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience in managing diverse teams across multiple projects. Strong expertise in requirements gathering, scope definition, and stakeholder engagement. Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as Workday or Salesforce is desirable. Proficiency in project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong presentation skills complemented by proficiency in Visio or other diagramming tools for process mapping. Knowledge of product management principles and experience in product development are beneficial. Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 25.00-50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
