What you'll be doing?




Barratt Redrow, Homes England and Lloyds Banking Group joined forces as co-investors to establish MADE Partnership.



MADE Partnership acts as a master developer, managing the development of large-scale projects, taking responsibility for the overall vision and strategy, and coordinating the wide range of stakeholders involved. It assembles the land, manages the planning, installs the primary and community infrastructure, disposes of serviced parcels of land to homebuilders, and ensures robust long-term stewardship is put in place.



In this role you'll work as part of the Group Major Projects team - the specialist master developer unit within Barratt Redrow Developments which manages the MADE Partnership business on behalf of the investors. We have a pipeline of projects ready to mobilise into delivery.



As a Project Manager within Barratt Major Projects, you will support the delivery of complex, large-scale developments operating closely with the Senior Project Manager and Project Management Director. Working as part of the MADE Partnership, you will help drive the success of our master developer model, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to successfully deliver serviced land parcels, complex infrastructure, and strategic master developments.


You will be expected to:




Strategic Planning & Oversight




Support the Senior Project Manager/Project Management Director in implementing project delivery strategies that align with MADE Partnership's vision and objectives for master development. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans for the delivery of serviced land parcels covering timelines, resources, risk management, legal considerations, Health & Safety compliance and quality assurance. Contribute to the development of project objectives and KPIs, tracking progress under direction.

Project Execution & Delivery




Coordinate day-to-day project activities for the delivery of serviced land parcels through pre-construction, construction, and post-delivery stages. Support the management of consultants, contractors, and third-party stakeholders to help achieve key milestones. Assist with procurement processes and contract administration for infrastructure works Contribute to project risk management processes, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks. Help ensure Health & Safety standards and CDM obligations are upheld across all stages of delivery. Support value management and value engineering initiatives to optimise project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Assist in the preparation of land sale documentation and coordination of pack components. Ensure project documentation and compliance requirements are accurately maintained.

Stakeholder Management




Support the Senior Project Manager/Project Management Director in coordinating engagement with key stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, contractors, consultants, and other partners. Assist in arranging and documenting stakeholder meetings, tracking actions and decisions. Represent MADE Partnership at meetings and help draft progress updates and briefing documents for internal and external audiences. Promote a positive safety culture across stakeholder and contractor teams.

Team Leadership




Act as a collaborative and proactive member of the Project Management Team. Provide support to more junior team members as appropriate and contribute to a supportive team environment. Report regularly to the Project Management Director, providing accurate and timely information on project status and key risks.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight




Assist with tracking project cost plans for the delivery of serviced land parcels and maintain financial documentation. Support the preparation of cash flow reports, expenditure schedules, and commercial updates. Liaise with the finance team to gather inputs and monitor financial processes.

Compliance & Risk Management




Help maintain accurate project records, including programme updates, risk logs, and governance documentation. Contribute to project review meetings, ensuring effective communication of project status and key actions. Assist in the implementation of risk management procedures and the monitoring of project controls.

Innovation & Best Practice




Promote and implement best practices in project management, seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable development practices to enhance project delivery.

What you'll need?




To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
Experience supporting or coordinating large-scale or complex development, infrastructure, or construction projects. Appreciation/experience of highways, drainage, utility, earthworks and other technical disciplines required to facilitate the delivery of large development projects including relative legislation and legal processes. An understanding of the development lifecycle, from planning through to delivery and land disposal. Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Planning) and/or chartered membership of a relevant professional body (MICE, MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM). Strong communication, coordination, and administrative skills. Familiarity with risk management, budget tracking, and procurement processes. Good working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with project tools such as MS Project or Asta Powerproject is beneficial. A collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced team environment.
