Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership abilities and a keen understanding of project management methodologies. The Project Manager will collaborate with various teams, manage resources effectively, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

:

Lead end-to-end project management for commercial and residential solar PV installations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and health & safety protocols. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project progression. Supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing progress updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Liaise with local authorities, grid operators, and regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management. Ensure all installations meet UK building regulations, MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) requirements, and other regulatory requirements. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety. Implement and enforce health & safety policies in line with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations. Identify potential project risks (delays, supply chain issues, technical challenges) and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions Details of the skills, experience and qualifications required for the post Proven experience as a Project Manager in solar PV installation or construction. Strong knowledge of UK solar energy regulations, MCS standards, and grid connection processes. Have an engineering background is a must. Familiarity with PV system design, electrical wiring, and roof-mounted/ground-mounted solar installations. Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and resource management skills. Proficiency in project management software and office software. Full UK driving license (travel to sites required).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 39,322.00-42,828.00 per year
