The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee a rope and specialist access project in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating teams, ensuring HSE compliance, and delivering project milestones on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute all phases of the project from mobilization to completion.
Lead and coordinate rope access and specialist trade teams on site.
Monitor safety standards and enforce compliance with HSE and IRATA regulations.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal management to ensure seamless communication.
Oversee project reporting, documentation, and financial tracking.
Manage site audits, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
Requirements
Minimum NEBOSH Certificate
(essential)
3+ years of project management experience
in construction or industrial sectors
Strong understanding of rope access, scaffolding, or specialist access systems
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Rope Access or Work-at-Height experience would be a benefit
SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification
