This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Care Group as a Project Manager, as we continue our improvement and transformation journey.You will be joining the Business, Improvement, Strategy & Commissioning Directorate which provides specialist support and advice to the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Care Group in terms of project/change management and continuous improvement.The Project Manager will lead the management of specific operational projects across the Care Group in collaboration with colleagues and partners. The post holder will be responsible for delivering projects on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards that meet business needs.There is opportunity for this to be a hybrid working role, with a minimum requirement to work from the various Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board sites, 2 to 3 days each week (with flexibility to be at various sites on additional days for events and meetings as required by the organisation). Interviews for this post will be required in person on site.We are keen to hear from you if you are passionate about improving mental health and learning disabilities services for people and are looking for the next step in your project management career.Main duties of the jobFormulate, implement and monitor progress of the projects.Develop governance arrangements for the project.Identify risks and develop contingency plans as and when necessary.This role is categorised as 'Welsh Desirable' at Speaking Level 1 or willingness to work towards, meaning that whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing candidates. This doesn't mean you have to be 'fluent' or be able to write long reports in Welsh; it just means being hold to simple conversations with patient.
