Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Hybrid, minimum of 3 days a week in onsite.

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager at EDF UK, you'll be at the heart of delivering complex engineering and construction packages that shape the future of energy. You'll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts--from planning and procurement through to commissioning--ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule.


Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you'll guide multidisciplinary teams and coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, and construction. Your leadership will be key to meeting project milestones while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.

Pay, benefits and culture

The salary range associated with this role is between 60,000 - 70,000pa, depending on experience. What you'll be doing

You'll be instrumental in securing the right resources to meet project demands, ensuring your team is fully qualified and supported. You'll identify and address any gaps early, keeping delivery on track and aligned with safety and quality standards.


Working closely with your Senior Project Manager, you'll help shape and execute strategic plans that guide the programme's success. You'll maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure that all activities within your contract or work package are delivered on time and within budget.


From managing risks and resolving issues to tracking progress and maintaining schedules, you'll be the driving force behind successful project execution. Your ability to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly will be key to delivering results that meet technical and business requirements.

Who you are

You'll bring proven project management experience in complex project environments, with a solid understanding of mechanical engineering, design, construction delivery, and contract management. You're confident navigating multi-discipline EPCM projects and have hands-on experience with procurement, cost control, and risk management.


Your working knowledge of CDM regulations and commercial arrangements such as NEC and FIDIC sets you apart. You're familiar with nuclear quality standards and how they're assured, and you've successfully engaged with stakeholders across all levels, including contractors and consultants.


While a degree in engineering or construction and a professional qualification in project management (like APM PPQ) is desirable, they're not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead, communicate, and deliver in a regulated, high-stakes environment.
