Record UK is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group who is one of the major companies within the automatic pedestrian door systems industry. The group manufactures and distributes door systems to over 70 countries worldwide.
From our production facility just outside Glasgow, we design, manufacture, supply, install and service automated door systems and aluminium shop-fronts throughout the UK to a wide range of organisations and clients.
Due to continued growth and high demand for our services, we are now seeking to recruit an additional Project Manager to join our expanding team. This role will be based from our Coleshill office, with flexibility to work from home in line with our hybrid working policy.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Project Manager will oversee the successful planning, delivery, and completion of automated door and aluminium shopfront projects, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the process.
The main responsibilities are to:
Lead, support, and develop project teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement.
Plan, monitor, and control project progress, ensuring milestones and budgets are achieved on a weekly basis.
Manage project budgets, costs, and forecasting in line with commercial objectives.
Support the tender processes and strategy as required.
Survey, attend site and manage projects to completion.
Liaise effectively with the customer, client and design team.
Ensure compliance with the company Quality Procedure and Manual.
Answer correspondence relating to the project.
Contribute to ISO Business Management system.
Essential Criteria
Experience
Minimum 5 years' project management experience within the construction industry.
Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects.
Experience leading teams and coordinating subcontractors.
Commercially experienced and financially competent in managing budgets and forecasts.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, planning, and organisational abilities.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Sound knowledge of risk assessment techniques and health, safety, and environmental practices.
Attributes

Holds a current, valid driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
Health and Safety Training (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely).
PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent project management certification.
CSCS card holder.
BS EN16005 certification.
SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
