Project Manager
.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site surveys and feasibility inspections.
Analyse briefs and existing conditions to prepare detailed tenders and scope of work packages.
Hire, coordinate, and manage subcontractors and trades.
Oversee both on-site and off-site project execution.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and consultants.
Monitor project costs and timelines; assist in value engineering where applicable.
Manage procurement and materials logistics.
Produce weekly progress reports including site conditions, cost tracking, and work status.
Ensure that all work complies with health and safety (H&S) regulations and industry standards.
Bonus
Ability to conduct site surveys and produce CAD drawings.
Required Qualifications & Experience
3+ years in a similar construction project management role (preferably in the UK).
Proven track record of managing small to large-scale construction projects end-to-end.
Experience working with subcontractors and multi-disciplinary professionals.
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Health & Safety compliance.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar).
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites weekly.
Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
CSCS Card (Management level preferred).
RICS or CIOB accreditation (or working toward it).
