Job Description

Under the direction of the Professional Manager for Community Dietetics the post holder will play a central role in the delivery of the work for the Strategic Programme for Primary Care. The post holder will be required to directly support the design, coordination & evaluation of the Community Heath Program to enable the delivery of the services key aims and objectives linked to the wider SPPC agenda.

This post is fixed term until 31 March 2026 due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.



The post-holder will provide day-to-day management and contribute to the development of a range of projects (work-streams) within the Community Dietetics Team, specifically the Community Health Programme linked with the National Strategic Programme for Primary Care.



This will include:



Establishing and developing key working relationships across ABUHB primary care & public health teams



Embedding proven project methodology and following Programme Management Office (PMO) processes



Setting up and maintaining robust information reporting systems which will enable the production of progress reports and other documentation as requested



Identifying and exploring new/unforeseen opportunities to deliver the Primary Care Model for Wales & Healthy Weight Healthy Wales level 1 models.



Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills are required.



The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
