Job Description

MARCO, a globally recognised automation and technology company and part of the ATS Group, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to support our growing Projects & Operations Teams based in Edenbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to support in the delivery of key products, ensuring delivery on time and in full and managing communication with customers from receipt of order through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing incoming sales orders to clarify fundamental scope and specification where necessary.

Planning and scheduling production to align with project goals and monthly revenue.

Liaising with design department to coordinate customer drawing issue and sign off.

Planning the build and installation process with Projects Technical team when needed.

Compiling and maintenance of Gantt charts for project timeline control, communicating key milestones to customers whilst monitoring and expediting progress.

Liaising with the Technical, Installation and Software teams to coordinate resources and support on time delivery and commissioning.

Coordination of customer training.

Costing quoting and managing packing and logistics arrangements.

Owning the customer communication channel and driving projects from order reception right through to installation, and commissioning.

Sustaining the customer relationship with regular verbal and written communication.

Experience

:

Proven experience as a project management professional with a relevant technical background (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Engineering).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literate with good attention to detail, ideally familiar with MS Project and/or Smartsheet.

A resilient, goal oriented and motivated self-starter with good team working skills who is also able to work on their own initiative when necessary.

Some experience of visual planning systems would be useful.

Experience with change and risk management would be beneficial.
