Mitie Telecoms are now leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms. The teams design, installation and maintenance experience coupled with Mitie\'s leading technology and scale has created a new force in telecoms and numerous exciting opportunities to be part of a growing organisation.

With this continued growth we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team based either at our newly refurbed Telecoms HQ in Tewkesbury or one of our other locations in Manchester or Doncaster.

We are looking for someone who can successfully execute customer projects, manage projects to budget, both financial and time commitments, integrate with the wider teams and contribute to better ways of working

What are the key duties?

The role of a project manager is to plan and oversee all aspects of a project, and to meet the project\'s goals on time and within budget. It will require you to organise people, tasks and resources to bring about a successful conclusion.

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not exclusive to :-

  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects
  • Defining a project\'s scope and goals
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines
  • Coordinating project staff
  • Resource planning and allocation
  • Quality assurance
  • Carrying out risk assessment
  • Managing project administration, including all documentation
  • Meeting budgetary objectives
  • Reporting regularly to senior management
  • Managing client relationships
  • Tracking project performance
What does our ideal candidate look like?

It is essential that the post holder has experience within the Mobile Telecommunications Industry, ideally with Cellnex knowledge & experience. Someone who has the ability to keep oversight of projects, track and manage budgets and costings, whilst leading the team in a positive, solution based approach.

You will have strong commercial acumen, be a collaborative and pragmatic communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills honed within the industry.

You must be detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills; must be able to multi-task and prioritise, with the ability to build strong relationships, internally and externally

Other skills and experience we would like include :-
  • Proven ability to manage medium to large scale projects
  • Strong experience engaging, developing and retaining client relationships
  • Ability to coordinate, self-motivate and support the team, while working closely with other clients and creative teams
  • Financially savvy - able to establish financial goals for the business and for team members
  • Enjoys working collaboratively
