Job Summary



Are you a Project Manager ready for an exciting challenge in the retail sector? At StrongPoint ALS UK Ltd., you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge in-store projects for some of the UK's biggest retailers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring successful project delivery, meeting customer expectations, and driving commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning & Coordination



Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are fully defined and met.

Execution & Supervision



Oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring alignment with design specs, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Conduct site visits, track progress, and proactively address issues during the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Communication



Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and building strong relationships. Facilitate communication between internal teams (e.g., design, procurement, operations) and third parties (e.g., contractors, suppliers).

Budget & Cost Control



Manage project budgets and track actual costs against forecasts. Report financial variances to the Senior Project Manager and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Health & Safety Compliance



Ensure all project activities comply with legal and company health & safety standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain accurate records (e.g., contracts, schedules, drawings, and correspondence). Provide regular project status reports to the Senior Project Manager and other key stakeholders.

Person Specification



Required Skills & Experience



Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects, preferably within the retail sector. Solid understanding of shopfitting methods, materials, and industry standards. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project planning tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Trello, etc.). Demonstrated ability in stakeholder and change management. Experience establishing structured project governance (team roles, approval workflows, communications plans). Working knowledge of health & safety protocols in construction or shopfitting environments. Full UK driving license is essential.

Desirable Qualifications



Recognised project management qualifications. Experience in implementing process improvements or systems enhancements.
