Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Project Management Director in the planning, execution and successful delivery of high-end garden installations. The Project Manager will also oversee small garden install projects. Based in our offices in Fishguard, this role involves close collaboration with our Operational and Design teams in London, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Although not essential, a willingness to learn about horticulture practices is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

Managing garden installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Team Coordination:

Liaising with operational and design teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and resource allocation.

Scheduling and Logistics:

Developing and maintaining project timelines, coordinating site activities and optimising workflow. Coordinating supply of materials, tools and plant hire etc.

Budget and Resource Management:

Tracking costs, schedule of works, and project charters to ensure financial efficiency, producing regular financial reviews of tracked performance.

Client and Stakeholder engagement:

Liaising with prestigious clients, client representatives, garden designers, contractors and architects etc, ensuring project objectives align with their vision.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:

Identifying potential challenges and implementing solutions to maintain project momentum. Ensuring compliance and H&S are forefront and in place and adhered to.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Manage health and safety compliance across all sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed and maintained effectively.

Site Oversight:

Conducting site visits on occasion to London to monitor progress, assess quality and address any operational changes.

Reporting:

Ensure clear communication and detailed management, control, monitoring and reporting throughout the projects progress.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential:

Degree in Project Management or related field OR Project Management Certification from recognised Colleges
Desirable:

Project Management certification from recognised Colleges OR experience in Project Management through progressively responsible roles

Experience

Essential:

Experience in leading cross-functional teams ensuring alignment with project goals Proven ability to manage project lifecycles from initiation to completion Exposure to budgeting, resource allocation and financial tracking Understanding risk assessments and mitigation strategies Robust organisational skills, prioritising tasks and managing competing deadlines Ability to make informed decisions under pressure
Desirable:

Exposure and familiarity within a project management environment with transferable skills Understanding of standards and compliance Experience in client relationship management
