Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to budget, while meeting all quality and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager will act as the central point of communication between internal engineering teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.

Primary Accountabilities



- Lead the planning and execution of complex aerospace engineering projects.

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates.

- Monitor and control project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using change control processes.

- Coordinate internal resources and third-party suppliers for the execution of projects.

- Ensure that all engineering deliverables meet industry standards.

- Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.

- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and executive management.

- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and customer contractual obligations.

- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and engineering processes.

- Support bids and proposals with project planning and estimation as required.

Essential Personal Skills / Attributes



- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.

- Proven experience (3+ years) managing engineering projects in the aerospace or defence sector.

- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, APM).

- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera), and risk management tools.

- Solid technical background with the ability to understand engineering concepts and communicate effectively with engineers and customers.

- Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
