Our Project Management team are critical to the business as the main interface between us and our customers co-ordinating and expediting all aspects of projects including planning, managing budgets, coordinating the team and ensuring successful delivery
This role is 100% site-based, working closely with both internal teams and our customer representatives, managing complex, fast-paced engineering projects

So what will you do?
You'll take full ownership of multi-million-pound fabrication projects
Leading a skilled team on the ground which includes planners, engineers, production and quality managing deadlines, budgets, and deliverables with military precision
Acting as the key point of contact for our customer, you'll be building trust and confidence
Navigating challenges in real time, you'll be ensuring no detail is missed
Every step of the way you will be driving performance, safety, and quality
And what are we looking for?
An Engineering qualification - preferably in mechanical engineering or similar with solid project management experience in heavy fabrication, shipbuilding, defence, or complex engineering environments
Someone who thrives in a busy, boots-on-the-ground setting -- not behind a desk
Confidence in working day to day with senior stakeholders, including your customer
A strong understanding of project lifecycles, change control, and cost management
APM, PRINCE2, or similar certification (or working towards it)
Eligibility for MOD security clearance is essential
Competency using MS Office and planning tools eg MS Project / Primavera or similar
Procurement and budget management skills including data analysis, excel and management reporting capability with accuracy and attention to detail
A strong planner and organiser comfortable making decisions to meet targets
