We're now looking for an experienced
Project Manager

The Role
As
Project Manager
, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Projects department. You'll lead Field-Based Coordinators (FBCs) and subcontractors to ensure successful, timely, and cost-effective delivery of large-scale infrastructure and civils projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage large-scale projects, ensuring delivery aligns with organisational goals and timelines
Conduct site visits as required to oversee project progress in real time and ensure compliance with site-specific requirements thereforeon-site attendance is an essential aspect of this role.
Support, guide and direct the team of Field-Based Coordinators (FBCs), as well as subcontractors, when required
Provide regular updates and feedback to the senior management team on significant project developments
Monitor progress against build programmes, ensuring all deadlines are achieved
Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring all tasks and objectives are met
Maintain all relevant project documentation, administration, and databases with accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile appropriate evidence to facilitate seamless invoicing processes and collaborate with the finance team where necessary to ensure tasks are completed to budget
Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential issues clearly to the senior management team
Work to meet deadlines and targets while addressing and resolving any issues or anomalies promptly
Liaise with civils and build subcontractors to monitor and report progress
Plan and secure permits for all necessary civils work within SLA timeframes
Ensure all projects are properly closed and finalised upon completion
Address and resolve conflicts within the team or with stakeholders to maintain project momentum
Provide guidance and support to junior staff or team members to develop their skills and competencies
Use tools and methodologies to track project progress, measure performance, and produce detailed reports for management
Manage scope changes effectively, ensuring they are documented, communicated, and approved
Identify potential risks early in the project and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact
Plan and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to ensure efficient project execution
Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are aligned
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in project management a related field (advantageous)* Proficient in managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met within scope, time, and budget (essential)* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving (essential)* Skilled in leading and motivating teams, including Field-Based Coordinators and subcontractors, to achieve project goals effectively (essential)* Confident in identifying and resolving issues, managing risks, and adapting plans to overcome challenges efficiently (essential)* Experienced in monitoring build programmes, planning and permitting civils work, and ensuring compliance with site and SLA requirements (essential)* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate between teams (essential)* Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines (essential)* A solid understanding of stock management and project workflows (advantageous)* Bachelors degree in project management, finance, business or a related discipline (advantageous)* Professional certification in project management (e.g. 'PRINCE2', 'PMP') is a bonus
