\xc2\xa380,000 - \xc2\xa3105,000 per annum

Reporting to the Project Director, as Project Manager you will be responsible for the smooth delivery, overseeing and ensuring the quality of the projects are kept to a high standard, on budget, safely and on time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of projects at various stages in a project\xe2\x80\x99s life cycle (pre-construction, construction, and post-construction).
  • Experienced in a client-facing role, providing support and advice on all aspects of the project technical, financial, contractual, safety and environmental etc.
  • Skilled at managing Programme, Change and Risk
  • Proactive in contract administration generally using the ECC NEC suite of contracts.
  • Excellent at managing the production of design data including conducting technical reviews and acceptances.
  • Skilled in supporting the production of contract data and works information and executing tenders.
  • Experienced with NEC
  • Regularly creating and drafting of reports \xe2\x80\x93 progression, any issues
  • Able to support all aspects of project/client governance procedures.
  • Planning the work and efficiently organising your time management
  • Overseeing quality control and the implementation of the McAleer & Rushe \xe2\x80\x9cThink Smart\xe2\x80\x9d management of health & safety on site.
  • Preparing reports as required for the Project Director.
  • Proactive approach to resolving any unexpected difficulties and other problems that may arise and associated reporting to the Project Director and Contracts Director.
  • Any other duties as required by management.
Education / Experience:
  • A Degree / HND in construction management or other relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience gained within similar roles working on projects ranging from \xc2\xa35M+
  • Operational knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations
  • Qualified first aider (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision making skills
  • Strong sense of achievement with proven ability of being able to drive projects forward and achieving high standards of work
  • IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Flexibility with regards to site location within the UK & Ireland
  • Candidates should have the appropriate work permit or the right to work in the UK.
