Salary from \xc2\xa349,196 to \xc2\xa356,833 pa inclusive with potential to progress to \xc2\xa363,295 pa inclusive of London allowance
The London School of Economics is a cosmopolitan university situated in the vibrant centre of London that specialises in the study of social sciences. The Estates Division is responsible for development and implementation of the LSE\'s Estate Strategy providing world class buildings and facilities for teaching and research. We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join the Capital Development team within the Estates Division.
The key duties will be to manage projects, manage external consultants, manage budgets, prepare project programmes and monitor the progress of project works.
You will ideally have a professional qualification and
- Experience of managing projects
- Demonstrable experience of Contract Administration & Construction Project Management
- Experience in project programming and financial management skills
- An understanding and willingness to participate in the Estates Asbestos Management is desirable. Training will be provided where necessary
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of building design, contracts, procurement and construction will be essential
