job Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of air conditioning projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. The role requires coordination with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all works meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate air conditioning installation projects from initiation to handover. Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide regular project updates. Develop project timelines, scopes, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine system requirements and feasibility. Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment in line with project timelines. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant industry standards (e.g., F-Gas, REFCOM). Manage subcontractors and on-site personnel to ensure productivity and quality of work. Prepare and maintain project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports. Identify and resolve project risks and issues effectively. Monitor and report on project performance, budget control, and customer satisfaction. Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience managing HVAC or air conditioning projects, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting. Technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, installation practices, and regulatory compliance. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Experience with project management software/tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, etc.). Familiarity with relevant health and safety legislation and environmental requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Full UK driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recognised qualification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services. Project Management Certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP, APM). F-Gas certification or experience working with F-Gas engineers. IOSH or SMSTS certification.

Pay: 45,000.00-65,000.00 per year
