The Role: Mechanical Site Manager

Location - Greater London (mostly central London)

Sector: Mechanical Engineering

Salary: 52,000.00-56,000.00 + Car / Car Allowance + Bonus

We provide commercial installations and maintenance across range of Hotels for Mechanical plumbing and pipefitting projects as our main service, we also provide AC and Ventilation services on smaller scale compering with plumbing and pipefitting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Mechanical projects up to 60000.

Be responsible for material and sub-contract purchasing.

Be responsible for Supervisors, plumber, pipefitters, labourers & sub-contractors.

Liaising with project & site teams to control & review all contract work.

Be able to prepare estimates for future works.

Have good leadership & integrity in all aspects of the role.

Ensure Health & Safety and QA compliance is always maintained.

Dealing with Customer Enquiries and carry out site surveys/visits.

Dealing with Project Planning.

Ensure projects are completed within the required timescale and on budget.

Plantroom alternations and improvement recommendation in communication with the client.

Material and scope of work creation for the small-scale project.

Strong organisation skills prioritising urgent projects.

Experience in using a variety of materials on different systems- ABS, Steel, Copper, Uponor etc

Ordering and take offs. Experience in costing projects.

Required Qualification / Certification:

SMSTS

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills and be able to work to deadlines, keeping teams and cost on track. You will be a strong and clear communicator who can work well under pressure and who values teamwork. With more than 3 years' experience in a similar role, you will have managed projects between 300 and 60000.
