. In this role, you'll lead complex, high-impact projects that directly improve the safety, quality and future of our homes. You'll be at the forefront of delivering major works that strengthen trust, protect lives and raise standards, leaving a lasting legacy across some of our most high-profile buildings.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of a variety of remediation projects, seeing them through from scoping and planning right through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:Managing consultants and contractors, ensuring roles, responsibilities and outputs are clearly defined and represent best value for money
Produce clear, timely update reports tailored to different stakeholders
Coordinating with contractors, setting expectations and maintaining high standards across each project
Overseeing delivery programmes, attending site meetings and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Managing project budgets, expenditure, contractor valuations and contract administration
Ensure robust project management practices are embedded across all remediation works
Maintaining accurate documentation and records, including use of IT systems
Leading on resident and stakeholder engagement, including pre-start meetings, forums and ongoing communication
Addressing customer queries and complaints effectively, ensuring responses are of the highest quality
Representing the organisation at external meetings, including occasional evenings and weekends
More About You
Educated to GSCE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grade A-C)
A qualification in a construction or engineering discipline (HNC/HND or higher) would be desirable
A solid grounding in fire and building safety, ideally supported by professional membership (e.g. RICS, IFE, IFSM) or the commitment to work towards it
Demonstrable experience delivering high-value and complex building projects from inception to completion
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, CDM regulations and compliance responsibilities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including residents
Proven ability to manage project budgets, cash-flows and contracts
Well-developed technical knowledge of building and construction, particularly in relation to existing properties
Strong IT skills (Microsoft packages, databases, data analysis)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial, as the role requires travel to sites within the M25 (covering London and the South East) and visits to our head office in Ealing
