Project Manager

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Morgan Lambert is a national consultancy specialising in compliance, engineering, and safety management across the social housing and energy sectors. The Building Services Department is a growing part of this wider business, delivering design, specification, and project management services for commercial plant room and heating upgrade projects across the UK.

As the scale and diversity of our projects continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our team with a dedicated Project Manager. This new role will bring greater flexibility and oversight to project delivery, helping us to maintain quality, improve client experience, and expand our capacity for more complex, multi-site programmes.

Working closely with our designers, auditors, and clients, the Project Manager will take a practical, hands-on approach to project delivery, ensuring clear communication, safe working practices, and well-coordinated installations from start to finish. This role will be primarily based in the South of England, with occasional further travel if and when required, and will play a key part in balancing national coverage as the department continues to expand.

Coordinate the successful delivery of Building Services projects from design through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance at every stage.

Act as a central point of contact between clients, designers, contractors, and internal teams, promoting clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.

Support project delivery across a national portfolio of heating and plant room upgrades, working closely with, and deputising for, the Building Services Manager as required.

Provide flexible, hands-on project oversight, attending site as needed to resolve issues and maintain momentum.

Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure project documentation and governance requirements are met.

Build strong, professional relationships with clients and delivery partners, representing Morgan Lambert with integrity and supporting repeat business.

Contribute to continuous improvement by helping refine departmental processes, documentation, and reporting tools.

During quieter project periods, the Project Manager will contribute flexibly to the wider organisation, supporting allied audit and inspection services and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality outcomes across the business.
