Join Our Team as a Project Manager for a Major Telecommunications Infrastructure Build!

Are you ready to take charge of a project that will enhance the fibre broadband network in the North East of England? In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our new telecommunications infrastructure build is a resounding success.

As the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the project operates within agreed targets, overseeing on-site operations and ensuring smooth project delivery. You will be an integral part of our management team, leading the end-to-end delivery of a FTTP build. Your focus will be on executing the project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- You will manage productivity, assigning roles, tasks, and responsibilities necessary for the successful completion of the project, in accordance with planning, specifications, and requirements.

- Leading a team of Supervisors, you will ensure that policies and procedures are followed consistently.

- Efficiently manage manpower allocation for all projects, optimizing resource utilization.

- Conduct daily team updates and arrange weekly and monthly meetings with Supervisors to ensure effective communication and coordination.

- Building and strengthening client and local authority relationships to foster successful project outcomes.

- Adhering to all aspects of health and safety, ensuring compliance with legislation and company procedures.

- Collaborating with the HSE Advisor to maintain a safe working environment for everyone involved in the contract.

- Ensuring full compliance of the project with local authority and statutory provisions for the administration of street works legislation.

- Delivering operations in a commercially effective manner, identifying cost reduction opportunities and performance improvement strategies.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Proven track record of working at a management level on high-value projects within the telecoms industry or other utility industries.

- Ability to effectively manage and supervise a project team within a fast-paced environment.

- Strong project management skills to oversee a program of works, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.

- Demonstrated success in establishing productive long-term relationships with clients, resulting in the management and delivery of multi-million-pound contracts.

- Valid driving license is essential.

- NRSWA Supervisor certification (desirable).
