We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead two key workstreams within our Core Transformation project:
Responsible for the planning and execution of two work streams of the Core Transformation project, the transition from On Prem to Cloud Managed Service and the delivery of the new mortgage underwriting product (Originate).
The role holder will produce the delivery project plan for each work stream, agree scope, define deliverables and key milestones, define roles and responsibilities and monitor the project schedule and timeline for tasks. They will also co-ordinate the wider project team to keep them on track and ensuring the project is delivered within the agreed time/cost/quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate activities to support the successful transition from On Prem Core Platform to a fully managed service. Also support the mortgage team with a product upgrade to introduce automation and improved customer journeys for the Mortgage Originate product.
Liaise with the Core Transformation third party provider to ensure all deliverables are on track and any issues escalated.
Provide regular clear updates on activities and appropriate escalation of any emerging issues to the Project Director and Business Stakeholders.
Develop a robust RAID log to manage risks, assumptions, issues and decisions, to ensure delivery is on time, budget and quality.
Monitor performance of all project deliverables ensuring monthly reviews are carried out and are fully documented and reported.
Demonstration of a thorough, constructive approach to the management of the project in order to gain a positive outcome.
Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
Full awareness of and conformance with all IT and information security policies and procedures. Ensuring potential or actual breaches of IT and information security policies and procedures are escalated immediately.
Ensuring sensitive and confidential data is managed appropriately at all times, encrypted and password protected as directed by policies
Close the project - including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning future projects.
About You
Essential:
Minimum 3 years' project management experience
APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
Experience of working with Waterfall methodology
Experience with Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, Teams etc)
Familiarity with relevant platforms and tools e.g. Jira, Confluence
Excellent interpersonal communication & influencing skills
A natural curiosity and desire to succeed and drive for results
Flexible & adaptable in the face of changing priorities or circumstances
Highly motivated and resilient
Excellent organisational skills to ensure deadlines and objectives are achieved within appropriate timescales.
Desirable:
A minimum of 5 year's project management experience
Knowledge and/or expertise in using Agile Methodologies (Backlog, User Stories, Kanban Board)

Pay: 45,000.00-60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 17.5 - 21 per week
